Survey Technician

Russell has over twenty years surveying experience throughout New Zealand, training in the Wairarapa and working throughout the country on rural and urban properties.  Many of our clients request Russell and his survey assistant on their projects for his friendly and helpful manner.

Envivo surveyors collect and analyse information about land, establish property boundaries and provide accurate data for architectural, real estate and engineering works.   We use specialised Leica equipment with 12D software and AutoCAD to process the information gathered on-site.

Equipment and software, however, are only part of the successful survey equation.    Our highly trained staff deliver surveys of superb quality that will generally far exceed our clients’ requirements.

Our Survey Technicians:

  • measure and plot land boundaries and land development using sophisticated survey equipment
  • make observations, record measurements and collect data about land, buildings, internal and external dimensions
  • make calculations from the data collected and previous surveys, then process the information
  • prepare reports using the measurements and data calculations
  • draft and interpret plans for land use survey and basic computer-aided design (CAD) software
